Our Mission
North Portland Soccer Club’s mission is to serve our diverse community through building interest in youth soccer and making it more accessible. We provide a safe and fun environment to develop skills that help our players find solutions to challenges they face both on and off the field. To us, soccer is more than just a sport - it’s an opportunity for youth to gain tangible leadership skills, value fair play, understand collaboration and teamwork, and to grow and learn.
WHo we serve
North Portland Soccer Club serves kids ages 5-14 in the 5th district of Portland. Portland is “Soccer City USA” with the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns professional soccer teams. NOPOSC is a Portland Youth Soccer Association (PYSA) partner and is helping to provide recreational soccer opportunities in North Portland. NOPOSC serves our community and will do its best to place kids on teams with their schoolmates and friends. Practices are held on neighborhood fields provided by Portland Parks and Recreation in alliance with PYSA.
Volunteers
Volunteers are paramount to the success and operation of our club! North Portland Soccer Club is always looking for parent and community involvement.
